Connecting accounts

Bank connections require your own Plaid Production Client ID and Secret. Add PLAID_CLIENT_ID and PLAID_SECRET in Moldable Settings → Vault, then choose Connect an account in Money. The connection dialog links to the Plaid dashboard and explains setup when keys are missing. Bank authentication opens through Plaid in your browser.

Plaid credentials and account access tokens are held by aivault. The app release includes no connected accounts or personal financial history; its demo data is illustrative.

Connections

  • Plaid Client ID — Connects your banks, cards, and brokerages via Plaid so your dashboards fill with real numbers. Use your own Plaid Production keys.
  • Plaid Secret — Server-side secret paired with your Plaid Client ID for all Plaid API calls. Never leaves your machine.

You'll be asked to connect these after installing. Keys are securely stored in aivault and never exposed to agents.
